Shipping for small businesses: setting up regular pickups.

A regular pickup window beats booking each order from scratch. Sellers who ship most days lose time retyping the same address, waiting on a one-off slot, and chasing a different waybill format for every carrier. A standing address and a daily cutoff remove that.

Set the pickup once

Share the warehouse or shop address, a phone that is answered during the day, and the time after which new orders wait for the next pickup. Pack and label everything that is inside the cutoff. The executive should find sealed, counted cartons, not a pile that still needs tape.

Someone has to be there. A missed pickup is usually a closed shutter or a wrong phone number, not a missing truck. Pickups are typically completed within 24 to 48 hours of booking, excluding Sundays and public holidays. If nothing has moved after 48 hours, contact support with the order id.

One dashboard for every order

Book from the same account you use to track. Each order gets a waybill or LR number, a status timeline, and an invoice you can download from the order. Cancel before pickup if an address is wrong. The amount returns to the wallet. After pickup, the shipment cannot be edited.

The wallet is prepaid. Recharge with UPI, net banking, or a card. Each booking deducts the quoted cost. A cancel before pickup refunds that deduction. The balance does not expire.

Weight still has to be honest. Book the category that matches chargeable weight: under 5 kg, 5 to 10 kg, 10 to 20 kg, or above 20 kg, up to 25 kg per package. If the hub measures more, the difference is deducted and you can dispute it within 3 days with photos.

What to standardise

  • A carton size you reuse, so volumetric weight stops surprising you
  • A label with receiver name, phone, and pincode on every piece
  • A cutoff that the pack bench can actually meet
  • A wallet balance that covers a normal day, plus an ODA lane if you ship to one
  • Invoices downloaded per order, or a monthly GST invoice requested from billing when you need one

Asking for a business account

If you want scheduled pickups rather than a fresh booking for every order, request a business account from the support form. Say how many shipments you move in a normal week, the pickup pincode, and whether you need a daily slot.

Until that is in place, you can still ship from the same flow as any other booking. Compare the lane, book, and keep the waybill. The aggregator is doing its job when the rate, the pickup, and the tracking never leave one screen.

Booked the first carton from one login. The quote showed the extra charge before we paid.

Useful when the lane changes. A single carrier contract is still simpler when the route never does.
